Can I buy directly from Thermal Suppressors?
Yes. Thermal Suppressors is a licensed NFA dealer, so you order suppressors and accessories direct from us. At checkout you enter the FFL where you want to pick up. We file ATF Form 3 to transfer the suppressor there, and your FFL runs Form 4 with you once it arrives.
What does the federal paperwork involve?
Suppressors are NFA items, so every purchase goes through the ATF twice. We file Form 3 to move the suppressor to your dealer. Once it arrives, your dealer runs Form 4 with you directly, including your background check, fingerprints, and photo. The old $200 transfer tax dropped to zero under federal law in January 2026, so there is no stamp fee to pay. Worth knowing up front: buying a suppressor is not the same as owning one, since the ATF has to approve your Form 4 before your dealer can release it.
What calibers do your suppressors support?
It depends on the model. The Glacier TI .30 Cal handles centerfire cartridges from .223 up through 300 Win Mag. The Polar TI 9mm is rated for 380 and 9mm pistol calibers. The N3wton is sized for 6.5mm (.264) and smaller rifle calibers. Full specs live on each product page.
Are your suppressors full-auto rated?
Every model except the N3wton is full-auto rated and can be run to its firing schedule. The schedules differ by suppressor, so check the specs on the product page for the one you're looking at.
Where are your suppressors made?
Every suppressor is designed, machined, and assembled in-house at our Phoenix, Arizona shop, from 17-4 stainless steel and 6-4 titanium held to aerospace tolerances. No outsourced steps.
Are your suppressors user-serviceable?
It depends on the model. Some are built to come apart and some are sealed, so check the specs on the product page before you take anything down, or ask us. Either way every Thermal Suppressor is user cleanable: run it in an ultrasonic cleaner with C4, Bortec, or Simple Green.
Do you sell through dealers?
Yes, in addition to buying direct from us. Thermal Suppressors are sold through authorized dealers nationwide. If your shop wants to carry our lineup, you can apply on our dealers page.
